Sales: According to the North Alabama Multiple Listing Service, Morgan County (Decatur) residential sales totaled 120 units during December, up 11.1 percent from the same month in 2016, when home sales in the area totaled 108 units. Click here for all Morgan County residential data.Forecast: December sales were 19 units, or 18.8 percent, above the Alabama Center for Real Estate’s monthly forecast. ACRE projected 1,394 closed transactions for the Decatur area during 2017, while the actual sales were 1,482 units.
