UNTIL 515 PM CDT…
At 450 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Steele, or 9 miles southwest of Rainbow City, moving west at 15 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Rainbow City, Ashville, Steele, Neely Henry Lake, Whitney Junction,
Alabama International Dragway, Horse Pens Forty, I 59 Rest Areas At
Oneonta and Camp Sumatanga.
