A new tornado watch is being formulated that will go until 3 a.m.

It will cover most of the same Alabama counties.

Here is the big picture at 6:45 p.m.

These storms will move into West Alabama between 8-9 p.m. and they will push across North and Central Alabama through about 5 a.m.

The tornado threat will continue until about 11 p.m. for areas north of I-20, but will actually increase after midnight for areas in the US-80 Corridor between Demopolis, Selma, and Montgomery.

There will also be a significant damaging wind threat. Winds gusted to 59 mph at the Jackson MS airport.
