It appears that the Birmingham airport received 0.52 inches of rain – just a tad over half an inch. That together with the 4.81 we’ve had throughout the month gives us a monthly total of 5.33 inches. That makes November, 2009, the 21st wettest November on record in Birmingham since 1900.

A little behind the months of September and October, but still about 7 tenths of an inch ahead of the 30-year average for November.

Since September 1st, Central Alabama has seen about just a tad under 2 feet of rain (23.60 inches).

For 2009 so far, we have had 69.76 inches of rain which is nearly 15 inches ahead of the average for the whole year.
