Our line of thunderstorms is like a young Bill Murray at a Godfather’s Pizza buffet in the 1980s, devouring everything in sight. Thunderstorms love to feast on instability, and ours are gobbling it up as they slowly work their way south. The current line may have just pushed back from the table however, as it has exhaled an impressive outflow boundary or gust front to its south. This outflow boundary will energize storms to the south across parts of Hale,Bibb, Chilton and Coosa Counties.

But for now, the strongest storms are over Pickens and Greene Counties in West Alabama, over Shelby County in Central Alabama, and over Randolph County in East Alabama.

For now, no warnings, and things seemed to have calmed down quite a bit. Still, be on the lookout for heavier light if driving, and lightning if outdoors.
