All of the dangerous thunderstorms are gone. But there is a final line of showers moving west to east across the state.
At 6 o’clock, that line of showers was north to south down through West Alabama from Moulton to west of Jasper to Tuscaloosa and Moundville.
Moving east rather slowly.
Little or no lightning.
That line represents a cold front. Temperatures are in the mid 60s at Birmingham, Tuscaloosa and Columbus, Miss., but in the chilly 40s all across Arkansas.
We will post some of today’s impressive rainfall amounts a little later. Some communities received as much as 6.50 inches today.
