Perfect weather today for the Magic City Art Connection at Linn Park.

I am fortunate to have been able to mastermind the renovation of The Tutwiler Hotel, so we chose this weekend to celebrate our grand re-opening. Nothing like having several thousand people outside your front door. All today, we are having a public open house with tours of the hotel.

Come on down and enjoy the world class art festival until 6 today and from 10-6 tomorrow. It is in Linn Park, Birmingham’s Central Park. Admission is free and the art is unbeatable.

There is plenty of food and entertainment also.

I came to my first Connection in 1999 and have loved it since…

And, take a moment to stop in The Tutwiler for free guided tours every 15 minutes until 6 today. You can also take the special audiotour of the history of Birmingham that I commissioned using 40 of the most spectacular historic photographs of The Magic City from the Library archives.
