Yesterday I hopped aboard StormChaser 33/40 for a long drive into the deepest part of East Alabama for a meteorology program for the fourth graders at Ranburne Elementary School in Cleburne County.
I had a slow start due to these characters on Concourse Parkway, right by the ABC 33/40 studio location.
This is just another sign of spring when you see these little guys walking around!
You pass through the community of Trickum on Alabama 46 on the way to Ranburne. There has to be some kind of great story about how this place got the name!

I saw some interesting vehicles in the big traffic jam coming out of Talladega.
