Each month, the Alabama Weather Network highlights an Alabama-based nonprofit that is doing tremendous work in our state. We want to use our platform to increase the awareness of these wonderful organizations.
This month, we spotlight The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs.
The Bell Center for Early Intervention Programs is dedicated to maximizing the potential of children from birth to three years of age who are at risk for developmental delay. Since 1984, The Bell Center has provided quality early intervention services through a center-based program in Birmingham, Alabama. Our transdisciplinary team includes physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and early childhood special education teachers who work together to help each child reach their individual developmental goals.
Through early intervention, The Bell Center helps infants and toddlers build the skills they need to thrive while providing support and resources to their families. We are proud to serve children and families in our community and are incredibly grateful for organizations like the Alabama Weather Network that help shine a light on the importance of early intervention.
