A freezing rain advisory continues across much of Central Alabama this morning…

Roads continue to be icy across the area. Bridges are the worst.

These conditions will continue until noon For areas from about Tallasee to Clanton to Woodstock, or generally from north of Montgomery to Clanton to northeast of Tuscaloosa. Areas north and east of that will see problems until into the early afternoon, including Fayette, Marion, Walker, Winston, Jefferson, eastern Shelby Coosa and Tallapoosa Counties and points northeast. This includes places like Jasper, Birmingham, Cullman, Oneonta, Springville/Ashville, Columbiana, Talladega, Gadsden, Anniston.

Far northeast Alabama may see problems into the late afternoon, including places like Centre and on Lookout Mountain.

Roads are dangerous…we have a report of a multi-vehicle accident on I-59 near MM 150…with a tanker truck involved…this is between Argo and Springville…just inside St. Clair County. We have a report the Interstate is going to be closed there.
