While we are in better shape here in Alabama thanks to rich water resources, we might find ourselves in the same situation unless we get some good rain during the fall and winter. I know one Atlanta TV station is doing a 30 minute special on the water crisis tonight.
Officials at Stone Mountain Park have cancelled plans to create a Coca-Cola Snow Mountain because the artificial snow would use too much water, sending the wrong message in the middle of a drought.
