Quick Mesoscale Update: Very high deep layer shear continues across much of central Alabama. Bulk shear and helicity are maximized over NW counties north of I-20…but better low level instability located over southwest counties south of I-20. Better rotating cells coming out of MS are weakening as they move northeast into more stable air mass over west Alabama. Highest threat area for tornadoes thru 5 am will exist over Pickens…Tuscaloosa…Sumter…Greene…Hale counties.
