“Greetings from Stockton, California. Im out here on business and just experienced my first California earthquake! Just wanted to give you guys back home a report from the front. Just after 8pm last night I was lying in my hotel bed watching TV. All of a sudden I was keenly aware that I was rolling around in the bed, ONLY I WASNT THE ONE DOING THE ROLLING!. Lasted about 20 seconds as far as I could tell. Local news reporting it as a 5.6. No injuries reported on the news and just minor damage reported to items on shelves that fell off. It was very different than the earthquakes we have in northeast Alabama. More of a rolling sensation than the vibration and shaking we have at home. Anyways take care you all.
