One storm over Central Alabama…it is passing out of Shelby County passing into Talladega and Coosa Counties. It is going to be passing near Talladega Springs. The tornado warning associated with it has been canceled by the NWS.
It will head toward Gantt’s Quarry and Sylacauga. It has hail and very heavy rain as well as deadly lightning.
Once this storm dies or moves out, we may have a lull for a while. We will be watching conditions to the west where a tornado watch is in effect. Nothing is happening there now with the atmosphere unstable but very capped. It could still boil over into another round of severe storms tonight.
