The storm in the Leeds area shows a 100% probability of severe hail (1 inch or larger) and the possibility of hail to 2.25 inches (nearly tennis ball size).
It will affect much of I-20 between Moody and Pell City.
Just got a report of quarter sized hail at the Moody exit off I-20 at 1:58 a.m.
A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect. We note Jefferson County has been cleared.
