For the fourth consecutive day, we have tied or broken the record high for the date at the Birmingham Airport.
When the mercury reached 99 at 2:43 p.m. today, it tied the record for June 3rd.
We will have another shot on Saturday, as the record high for June 4th is 98 and we are projecting a high of 97 in the afternoon.
For June 5th through the 7th, the records are 100, 98 and 98 respectively. Those will be in danger as well, as we will be in the upper 90s each of those days as well.
