Storms over northern Bibb and western Shelby County have been quite strong. They have now gusted out over Shelby County, but are back building into Bibb County and are strong near West Blocton.
They have the potential to produce wind gusts to 40-50 mph, along with brief heavy rain and deadly lightning. Hail is not much of a problem with them.
As the storms gusted out, they sent an outflow boundary into Chilton County…and storms have now formed from Jemison west in the direction of Centreville. These storms are moving south in the direction of Maplesville.
Another storm was southeast of Calera…moving in the direction of AL-145.
