The strong storms in eastern Shelby County apparently knocked down trees in the Columbiana area.
Three separate reports of trees down in t he area received through Shelby 911.
Storms remain strong from near Columbiana to west of Talladega Springs. They are moving into Clay and southwestern Talladega Counties.
The storms have already gusted out. Watch for the stroms over Coosa County to intensify as the outflow reaches them.
The Weather Service posted a significant weather alert for SW Talladega and Clay Counties….
