The line of strong storms over Northern Alabama is moving a little faster now…pushing southeast at about 30 mph.

The leading edge extends from Sulligent to near Winfield to Natural Bridge to Double Springs to Addison to Cullman then northward to Triana in Madison County.

The storms have weakened a tad and are no longer severe…but do contain strong winds to 40-50 mph, torrential rains and huge amounts of lightning. One hour rainfall rates will approach two inches with the heavier storms.

Hopefully they will remain below severe limits, but bring some beneficial rains deep into Central Alabama.
