A very intense thunderstorm is near DeKalb County MS. It has strong indications of high winds and hail.
It will move east northeast into northern Sumter and northern Greene Counties over the next hour.
Folks in and near Emelle, Geiger, Panola and Gainesville in Sumter County and north of I-59 in Greene County including Linton and Union should be taking protective action before these storms arrive. Leave mobile homes, get off roads and be in the middle of site built homes.
Severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect for Greene, Pickens and Sumter Counties until 2:15 p.m.
