Central Alabama Storms

Strong, but not severe, storms are over Central Alabama this afternoon, in addition to the main squall line over West Alabama.

They extend from east of Albertville to Oneonta through northeastern Jefferson County then into southwestern Jefferson County, west of I-59.

Other storms are over East Central Alabama from south of Anniston through areas east of Talladega to near Rockford. Lightning and gusty winds will continue with this activity as it pushes east northeast at 30 mph.
