Storms are firing in a wide arc from West central to South Alabama. The good news is that the airmass in the wake of this morning’s storms is quite stable across North and Central Alabama and no additional severe weather is expected.
And no rain for Talladega.

BIG PICTURE A large arc of storms continues to push southward, being sparked by our strong outflow boundary. The arc curves up through Marengo, Wilcox and into Greene County in West Central Alabama. A severe thunderstorm watch may be coming soon from the Storm Prediction Center as these storms push southward. |

SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL…AND
