The Weather Service hasn’t issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Tuscaloosa County, and that is likely a good call since the radar echoes on the storm moving out of Fayette and Walker into northern Tuscaloosa have weakened a bit.

It produced one inch hail at Oakman in Walker County at 7:09.

Still, it is an impressive arc of storms that will affect northern Tuscaloosa County around Moores Bridge and Samantha. Expect heavy rain, small hail and strong gusty winds as well as plenty of intense lightning.
