Midnight Storm Update..

There are currently no severe thunderstorms at this hour. There is a cluster of strong thunderstorms affecting the I-85 corridor…including the cities of Auburn, Opelika and Tuskegee. If they hold together they could be in the Montgomery area in about an hour.

These storms have been producing small hail, up to about dime size, gusty winds and very dangerous cloud-to-ground lightning.

These storms will continue to push off to the southwest.
