Well, the news is not especially good this morning; our Pinpoint Doppler Radar system atop Double Oak Mountain is still down.
Late word is that, most likely, it will not be in service tomorrow. So, during the thunderstorm event please use our live stream, which you can access from the ABC 33/40 Weather page (click on the button that says “click here to watch live” on the right side).
We feed NEXRAD data into the radar software when our system is down like this. Needless to say, there will be no still images tomorrow with no operational radar at this point in time.
