As expected this morning, the rain continues to push east into East Alabama. Across the western portions of the state, dry air has worked in clearing out the rain and the clouds. Mostly sunny skies are in place along and west of Interstate 65. It looks as though many areas will experience a beautiful sunny afternoon.
Don’t be fooled by the sunshine though, very cool air and breezy conditions will be the main weather story across the state today. Many ares will struggle to reach the 60s today and tomorrow. Bundle up if you are heading out and about this weekend as it feels more like early march instead of early May.
