A quick look at the radar tonight shows showers and some thunderstorms across north Mississippi that are trying to make their way into West Alabama. A few of these storms could pack a punch, but none are severe and we are not expecting any storms to be severe for the rest of tonight.
These storms should be very similar to what we experienced this morning across West Alabama. Heavy rains, some gusty winds, possibly some small hail and dangerous lightning with some very loud rumbles of thunder.
The unsettled weather will stick around for the first part of your Saturday until a cold front pushing south makes its way across the state.
