All watches and warnings have been allowed to expire across Alabama.

It was a rough start to the day, but the front, clouds, and rain are on their way out of here. We are seeing the sky clear rapidly this midday and for the rest of the afternoon we will have a sunny sky, which will give us a chance to dry out.  Only a few patchy clouds will dot the sky over Alabama this afternoon.

The temps will not be bad either. It will be a little cool as winds will be blowing from the west-northwest behind the front today. Most locations will be in the upper 50s and low 60s. Not too bad for mid-January across Alabama.
