The radar finally shows a more general increase in thunderstorm activity this afternoon across Central Alabama with several pulse thunderstorms popping up in the heat and humidity.
With that action comes some severe weather however. No tornadoes for sure, but there has been some fairly large hail, lots of lightning, heavy rain and the storms could produce damaging winds from microbursts.
Three warnings right now. You can see them above.
Chilton County was just cleared.
A new severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Bibb and Perry Counties.
Hail was reported on highway 25 near highway 82 in Centreville recently.
