UPDATE 6:00 AM
The crash site is just north of the Airport, just north of the north-south runway.
The aircraft involved is an Airbus 300. It is UPS flight 1354 enroute to Birmingham from Louisville.
Two pilots were aboard. According to fire reports, they have not been located.
Explosions were heard in Crestwood at the time of the crash.

Reports are that a UPS cargo aircraft crashed in Tarrant a few minutes ago.
The address being reported is 8900 Airport Road, short of the runway.
John Talbot says Birmingham Fire has two commands set up.
Numerous fire and rescue units are on the scene.
Explosions continue.
