A 40-mile-wide band of showers, along with some thunderstorms. continues a slow eastward pace into Alabama this evening. The center of the band is about from Huntsville to Tuscaloosa to Livingston.

The east edge of the rain is now from near Scottsboro in NE Alabama to Birmingham and Selma..

Not a great deal of lightning. In fact, most ot it is down over the SW part of the line and mainly over into the east edge of Mississippi.
