For those of you in in Etowah, Talladega, St. Clair, Calhoun, Clay and Cleburne Counties… this is a reminder that the deadline to request a free Midland 100A Emergency Alert Radio (EAR) is rapidly approaching (March 31st).
Get complete details here. Select “Contact us” and make the request or call 1-877-Alert08. As of last Friday, many counties still had less than half of the eligible locations having requested an EAR. This is an offer we hope everyone accepts!

A serious situation is occurring in the Tuscaloosa/Northport area when numerous roads are flooded or impassable. The Tuscaloosa County EMA asks that residents stay home and do not drive. Continue reading
