Several large and very noisy thnderstorms now in Jefferson County moving toward the East and Southeast.
+ One cluster headed toward downtown Birmingham.
+ Second cluster moving across NE Jefferson toward Pinson, Trussville
Both storms sharp lightning and very loud thunder. Judy Freeman, 33/40 Skywatcher in Center Point reports lots of cloud to ground lightning.
Window-shaking thunder at my place in NE Trussville but no rain or high wind yet.
These storms may slow down the afternoon rush hour even thought much of that is already complete.
