Clouds have invaded the northwestern two thirds of Alabama on this January Saturday. They are generally north and west of the I-65/I-85 corridor.

Temperatures are in the 49s across Central Alabama, actually warmer in the east where it is 46F in Anniston. It is 42F in Tuscaloosa. The clouds have resulted in the cooler readings in the West and Northwest.

Readings over Northwest Alabama and the Tennessee Valley were just getting out of the 30s. Most places will make the middle and upper 40s, at least across Central Alabama

Tonight will be cool with lows around freezing inn our area.
