Decent St. Clair Co. Storms

Storms near Springville and Pell City in St. Clair County are on the heavy side with very heavy rain (rainfall rates approaching one inch an hour in the cores), dangerous lightning and perhaps some small hail.  Tops are running 45-50 thousand feet near Springville, indicating a very tall, strong storm.  It will also produce strong, gusty winds when it eventually collapses.

To the south, some strong storms over Autauga, Elmore and Coosa Counties.

Everything is pushing east southeast.
