This is a rough snowfall projection map for Alabama. Areas under Winter Weather Advisory are shown in blue with Winter Storm Watches and Warnings in teal.
Your actual results will vary, but places like Demopolis, Eutaw, Marion and Selma should pick up a dusting.
Areas from Hamilton to Tuscaloosa and Birmingham and points southeast should see 1/2 to 1 inch.
2 to 3 inches will fall from Cullman and Blount Counties northward to Huntsville and northeast into Jackson and DeKalb counties.
There have been numerous reports of accidents from Cullman and Morgan counties. Roads that become snow covered will be slick and hazardous especially as temperatures fall to below freezing. Bridges and overpasses will freeze first. Decks and other exposed surfaces will also become slippery when snow covered.
