I am getting behind on my mailbag posts… but as usual, some folks love us, some folks hate us anything the weather gets active.

James Spann loves to listen to himself talk more than ANYONE on TV. He should have been an attorney. The only way he could say less…. is to talk longer.
People up north have reason to laugh at us and it begins with the weather people in this city. STOP sensationalizing the weather!!!! We are sick of you getting it wrong and when the bad weather comes (and it will) you will be responsible for the apathy of the public!!”

“Well, you really didnÂ’t have to be there, but you said you would, so you did. I think that commitment is what keeps your department number one probably in the Southeast if in fact that could be determined. All of the rest in Birmingham and the state as well continue to play catch-up and are constantly looking up to see what you are doing. From watching this morning, it looks like you are going to have skycams covering every city in the state in probably 2 to 3 years. I talked to you when you were at Cropwell maybe 8 to 9 years ago.
Well, you could have slept in but you didnÂ’t. Thanks for getting and keeping Alabama into the 21st century TV weather wise. You also cover NE Mississippi which is good for me as my Mother still lives in West Point. I heard West Point mentioned a couple of time this morning as well. Thanks and Go Dogs today against Ole Miss.”
