The field is in Luman Harris park, and provides an opportunity for children with mental and physical handicaps to play ball. Jeff Dennis, project organized, shares a little about this great ministry at the end of the video. I was scheduled to be live at 5:00 and 6:00 on ABC 33/40 News, but the site at the park was in a low spot, and we could not get a good microwave signal back to any of our receivers. There is another Miracle League park in Moody that has been in operation for a number of years in St. Clair County; good to see Jefferson County get this facility. Congratulations to everyone in Gardendale for this wonderful facility.
I shot this video quickly on my iPhone this afternoon…
