…Gusty Winds Expected Behind a Frontal Passage Tonight…
Gusty westerly winds will occur tonight behind a cold front as it
crosses the area. Sustained wind speeds may reach 20 mph or greater,
and wind gusts may exceed 30 mph occasionally at some locations. The
winds will tend to be strongest in northwestern Alabama this
evening, and along the higher terrain of northern Alabama and
southern middle Tennessee after midnight. Wind speeds are expected
to gradually decrease late tonight and into Monday morning.
