Heads Up Lamar County, Tornado...

A new tornado warning was just issued for southern Monroe County in Mississippi until 1:15 pm. The cell was located 7 miles north of West Point and is moving to the northeast at 35 MPH.

If you live in the northern half of Lamar County, especially in Sulligent, Detroit, and Beaverton, be ready to act if this cell continues into the county and a Tornado Warning is issued.
