Sometimes in lines of storms, one part of the line will surge ahead, creating a wave i  the line (a LEWP, line echo wave pattern), and these sometimes produce tornadoes.  In general, tornadoes from these are small and don’t last very long, but you should be in a safe place from Bessemer and McAdory to Hoover to Vestavia to Inverness to Pelham right now.

Everyone else can also expect winds up to 60 mph from the line.  There have been a lot of reports of trees and power lines down in west Alabama, and there may have been a tornado in the Aliceville and/or Coker areas.
