The storm near Columbus MS shows signs of hail and it will be moving into southern Lamar and extreme northern Pickens Counties in the next 30 minutes.
It will pass north of Macedonia and affect Millport and Kennedy. It will eventually move into Fayette County near Belk and Fayette.
Be alert for hail to the size of nickles. Lots of dangerous lightning as well.
The storm approaching Hamilton in Marion County has lots of lightning in it.
The storms are not severe at this time but we are monitoring them. CAPE values are approaching 2,500 joules/kg and bulk shear values are increasing, so the storms should continue to intensify.
