Different arrangement of showers and storms across Alabama this afternoon as compared to yesterday. Almost all of the storms today over the south half of the state. Few, if any, thunderstorms over the north half.
At 5 pm, the strongest storms (and the most lightning) extended from Coosa and Tallapoosa County in East Central Alabama west and southwest across Autauga County and down into Monroe County.. They were moving slowly toward the North and Northeast.
