Thunderstorms have mostly evaded Alabama so far today. At 5 pm, a narrow line of thunderstorms extended from the NE corner of Mississippi northeastward across NW Alabama to near Huntsville.
Moving east.
Most of the lightning was over the NE corner of Mississippi. These are not big mean storms yet.
Still time for other storms to develop this evening in the deep sea of warm moist air that covers Alabama.
We will watch.
