Thunderstorms have continued to increase in number across Alabama this afternoon. By 5 pm, they were occurring in all sections of the state.
Probably the most impressive group of storms was a west to east line of storms across the extreme south. A severe Thunderstorm Warning was posted for Monroe County..
But there were other storms of note:
….Tuscaloosa County (Dumping very heavy rain and dangerous lightning).
…..Between Camden and Selma
…..Scattered all across the Tennessee Valley
Many of those storms are overdosed with very dangerous lightning and they are dumping extremely heavy rain.
The storms will gradually thin out and weaken during the next several hours.
Look for even more showers and thunderstorms tomorrow
