It was an all night visit with lots of rain and thunderstorms in Alabama.

Late this morning, most of the rain had ended over the north half of the state. Most of the rain still in progress at 10:45 am was from about Montgomery southward. This includes an area of moderate to heavy rain north and northeast of Mobile.

The heaviest of all was a solid line of thunderstorms that had moved offshore to about 100 miles south of the Alabama/NW Florida Coast. Big bunches of lightning in those.
