The coverage and intensity of showers has diminished greatly across Alabama late tonight. In fact, lightning detection equipment shows little or none.
At 11:15 pm a band of showers remained across Central and South Central Alabama declining in coverage and intensity.. The showers were mainly from Chilton and Coosa County south to the Florida border. Heaviest showers were near Montgomery but only moderate in intensity. Movement toward the northeast.
