It was another chilly July morning across Central Alabama. And like yesterday, a number of new record low values were set. Below is a Public Information Statement for the National Weather Service in Birmingham listing the new records along with the previous record. The record low at Montgomery has stood for 86 years for one of the older records. Why that is even older than JB Elliott!!

I know a lot of us would love to see the coolness continue for the rest of the month, but all good things must come to an end eventually. So it is probably no surprise to anyone that our highs will climb back up to average for this time of year toward the end of this week. But it sure has been nice.
