Thanks to Dennis Martin for putting together our new set here at ABC 33/40. We have all new equipment in service now, including a number of high powered graphics intensive boxes using 8 core processors for the cool real time 3D images. The new weather center was built to house the new equipment. Our work space is now cleaner and more efficient in a number of ways!
The set was never intended to be a big, show off kind of thing; it is a simple operational weather center that is perfect for how we handle things. Looks good and will make us better during times of severe weather.
