Bad storm near Geiger! Will pass near Gainesville, then near Clinton and Eutaw…perhaps Knoxville and Akron. SHould stay just south of Tuscaloosa, but we will be watching it.
We have a report of a 3/4 mile wide tornado on the ground with this storm!
From Alan Gerard, Chief at the NWS Jackson…MSU (Miss. St.) chase team reports 3/4 mile wide tornado over NE Kemper county MS moving east. Estimated inflow winds of 80 mph.
